Customer Success Manager
Own the client relationship after launch, ongoing support, growth conversations, and making sure a migration's value keeps compounding, not just gets delivered once.
A migration isn't the finish line. It's where the ongoing relationship actually starts. As a Customer Success Manager at UVT, you'll own that relationship after launch: making sure clients get real, continued value from their Shopify store, not just a one-time handoff.
What You'll Do
- Own the post-launch relationship for a portfolio of clients: regular check-ins, understanding their evolving needs, and making sure support requests actually get resolved, not just logged.
- Spot growth opportunities in an existing relationship, a CRO audit that's overdue, a Shopify Plus feature that would genuinely help, or an integration that's become a bottleneck, and bring those conversations to the client proactively, not wait to be asked.
- Coordinate with the development and CRO teams when a client's ongoing needs require real technical work, translating business context into a clear brief.
- Be the client's advocate internally. When something's not working, this role makes sure it gets fixed, not just explained away.
- Track account health honestly: which relationships are thriving, which need attention, and why.
What We're Looking For
- Real account management or customer success experience, ideally in an agency or technical services context where the product is ongoing work, not a fixed SaaS feature set.
- Comfortable enough with ecommerce and Shopify specifics to have a credible conversation about what's actually possible, not just relay requests between client and team.
- Genuinely proactive. This role is judged on catching problems and opportunities before a client raises them, not just responding well when they do.
- Clear, honest communicator who can deliver both good news and bad news directly.
Nice to have: experience with Shopify or another ecommerce platform specifically, CRO or growth-marketing background, experience managing enterprise or Shopify Plus accounts.
What We Offer
Remote-first work, and a role built around UVT's actual positioning: an extended team relationship, not a vendor handoff, which means real authority to advocate for clients, not just manage expectations.
