Delivery Manager

Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent Shopify migration and development projects, resourcing, timelines and quality, one level above individual project management.

Running one project well is project management. Running delivery across many concurrent projects, with limited developer and designer capacity, is a different job. As a Delivery Manager at UVT, you'll own that view: resourcing across projects, protecting timelines and quality at the same time, and making the trade-offs that individual project managers shouldn't have to make alone.

What You'll Do

Oversee resourcing across multiple concurrent client projects, balancing developer and designer capacity against committed timelines realistically, not optimistically.
Support individual project managers when a project is at risk, bringing in additional resources or making scope trade-off calls that need delivery-wide visibility.
Identify delivery bottlenecks across the practice (a skill gap, a recurring scope problem) and fix the pattern, not just the individual instance.
Maintain delivery quality standards across projects, so "itemized scope, honest status updates, real QA" stays consistent regardless of which project manager is running a given engagement.
Work with sales on realistic timeline commitments during scoping, before a project is sold on a deadline delivery can't actually hit.

What We're Looking For

Real delivery or resourcing management experience across multiple concurrent projects, ideally in an agency or technical services context.
Comfortable making hard trade-off calls (reprioritizing resources, pushing back on an unrealistic deadline) rather than letting every project proceed as originally scoped regardless of capacity.
Strong pattern recognition: able to spot a delivery problem that's recurring across projects, not just react to each one individually.
Experience working with both project managers and sales, since this role sits between committed timelines and actual delivery capacity.

Nice to have: experience in a Shopify or ecommerce agency specifically, PMP or equivalent delivery/program management certification, experience scaling a delivery function as an agency grows.
