Build enterprise-scale Shopify Plus stores, Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, B2B and multi-store expansion, for migration and new-build projects.

Shopify Plus work is where the platform's enterprise tools actually matter: Checkout Extensibility, Functions, native B2B, multi-store expansion. As a Shopify Plus Developer at UVT, you'll build this side of the practice, both new Shopify Plus builds and the Plus-tier work that comes out of enterprise migrations off Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

What You'll Do

Build custom checkout experiences using Checkout Extensibility, replacing what used to require checkout.liquid on earlier Shopify versions.
Develop Shopify Functions for custom pricing logic, shipping rules and other server-side customization that standard Shopify apps can't provide.
Architect multi-store and Shopify Markets setups for brands expanding into new regions or running genuinely distinct storefronts for different markets or brands.
Configure and extend native B2B functionality (company accounts, custom pricing, net payment terms) for wholesale and enterprise clients.
Work closely with migration leads on enterprise projects coming off Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud, where Plus-tier functionality is usually central to the rebuild.

What We're Looking For

Real Shopify Plus development experience: Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, and at least one multi-store or B2B implementation.
Comfortable working at the edge of what Shopify's documentation covers; Plus-tier features change faster than standard Shopify, and this role needs someone who reads changelogs.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and enough backend thinking to reason about Functions' performance constraints, not just their logic.
Experience scoping Plus-tier work specifically, since it's priced and architected differently from a standard Shopify build.

Nice to have: experience migrating an enterprise store (Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) onto Shopify Plus specifically, Hydrogen/headless experience, international commerce (multi-currency, duties and tax) implementation experience.
